WIGGLE HIGH5 VICTORIOUS!
New website
Jolien D'hoore showed her fitness is still in top condition after the Bronze medal performance at the Rio Olympics. Jolien took the chequered flag at the Madrid Challenge by la Vuelta from her Wiggle High5 team mate Chloe Hosking, and Marta Bastianelli of Alé Cipollini took third place.

This resulted in the podium being a full house for Lazer!

Elisa Longo Borghini crossed the finish line to take a solo victory at the Giro dell'Emilia Internazionale Donne Elite in Italy.

The following day Chloe Hosking backed up the previous days victory by the "women in black" to win the Gran Premio Bruno Beghelli Internazionale Donne Elite race in Monteveglio.

The whirlwind of the two biggest trade shows has passed and the dust has settled. Lazer had a very successful time both at Eurobike and Interbike, where we showed everything new for the 2017 cycling season!

The press have been singing our praises too, and who can blame them with the exciting products we've got coming for you.

Comments like these reassure us we are doing a fantastic job:

TOM ZIRBEL BREAKS AMERICAN HOUR RECORD IN LAZER WASP AIR WITH LONG TAIL KIT!
Rally Cycling’s Tom Zirbel smashed the American hour record September 16 in Aguascalientes, Mexico. In his final event as a professional cyclist, Zirbel powered around the velodrome to set a new standard of 53.037 kilometers (32.95 miles). Zirbel topped the almost two-decade old record of 51.505 kilometer set by Norm Alvis in 1997. In setting the American Hour record, Zirbel also set the second fastest hour record time in the world.

“This is the perfect way to end my career,” said Zirbel. “I am so thankful to Rally Cycling for giving me the opportunity to break the record. From the first time we got on the track we knew it was wicked fast. It was really a matter of managing my effort so I didn’t explode. I didn’t want to miss the American record so we went out conservatively. It’s a crazy event, a rollercoaster. An hour is a long time to be stuck in your own thoughts. I had some doubts out there – not sure if I could do it. Once I hit 15 minutes to go, I knew it was time to pick it up and give it everything I had. I am really pleased to break 53 kilometers – that was my secondary goal.”

Zirbel used the Lazer Wasp Air helmet with Long Tail Kit. The result of extensive wind tunnels research, scientific insight in aerodynamics and the use of mathematical models that allowed Lazer to compute and optimize the shape of the helmet in the virtual environment.

Sold normally with the short tail, the Long Tail Kit allows the Wasp Air to be modified into a full length aerodynamic helmet for maximum aerodynamic performance. The fastest aero helmet available on the market today obviously did the job for Zirbel and helped him established the new record.

Congratulations Tom!
